A person that is down in the dumps is not happy. They have had something or some things happen that has just crushed their will to live. This is a terribly depressing thought that one needs to understand. When you have this happening to you then you are seeing your self esteem slip through your fingers.
Whether you know it or not self esteem is a very important issue. It is not so much about the way that you look or how you deal with others. Chemical Imbalance There is also the chance that you are suffering from a chemical imbalance of the body. The body is made up of several chemicals, all of which live together in perfect harmony. When one of the chemicals is out of balance then the problems start. This can be treated with the newest medications on the market with great success.
Tragedy In some cases a person can have low self esteem when they have suffered a personal tragedy. The loss of a loved one or the onset of a terrible disease is commonly known to trigger a reaction in the self esteem department. To counteract this you might need to seek some grief counseling to ensure that you are pulling through.
You can treat this issue if you are really sure that you want to. That is the question for many people. There are those that thrive on the constant pressure and such from self esteem issues. As such you have to see that they may never get help because they love the attention.
